To ensure the highest quality print results, please follow these detailed guidelines when preparing and submitting your artwork.

File Format

  • We only accept High-Quality Print PDFs from both PC and Mac platforms.
  • Ensure your PDF is exported using the “High-Quality Printing” setting.
  • Before exporting:
    • Convert all text to outlines.
    • Embed all images.
    • Include a screenshot or .jpg proof for content verification.

Important: Submit artwork only—disable “Template” & “Specs” layers before exporting.

If you are unable to generate a High-Quality Print PDF, we also accept files in the following formats:

  • Photoshop (.PSD): Ensure all layers, paths, channels, links, and fonts are included.
  • Illustrator (.AI): Convert all text to outlines and include all linked images (do not embed images).
  • InDesign and QuarkXpress files are not recommended for large format printing. We only accept High-Quality Print PDFs generated from these software programs.

Templates

Artwork templates for all graphic sizes are available in PDF format on our website: gotradeshow.com.

Resolution

  • The optimal resolution for images is 72-125 DPI at the final print size (full size).
  • Submitting images with a resolution higher than 125 DPI may increase file size without improving print quality.

Color Settings

  • All artwork should be defined in CMYK. Converting from RGB to CMYK may result in color shifts—please proof your colors before submission.
  • Pantone Spot Colors can be requested, but exact color matching is not always possible.
  • Reference printouts are used for layout only, not as final color references.
  • If a color layout cannot be sent, include a .jpg, .pdf (screen optimized), or screenshot file, and label it as “proof.”
  • For black, use Process Black (CMYK).

File Transfer

  • Files sent via WeTransfer should be compressed (.sit, .rar, or .zip).
  • Alternatively, you can upload your files directly through our website: gotradeshow.com.

Proofing

  • If a proof print is required, we provide approx. 12″ x 12″ proofs.
  • Please allow additional production time for proofing. Final delivery may be delayed based on proof confirmation and shipping time.

Turnaround Time

  • Typical turnaround time for 1-5 prints is 3-5 business days, excluding shipping.
  •
